BookIPs Unveils Guardrail and Peer Review System for AI Content Reliability on SOLVOOK Platform

In response to the growing discourse around the reliability and accountability of educational content amid the proliferation of generative AI, BookIPs, the operator of the educational content platform SOLVOOK, has announced the introduction of a guardrail and peer review system to systematically manage the credibility of AI-generated content.

This newly implemented system is designed around a Human-in-the-Loop framework, where educational experts validate AI-generated content. It features a guardrail mechanism that controls potential risks from the content generation stage. The system also incorporates a peer review and Universal Content Identifier (UCI)-based traceability framework to manage the entire lifecycle of content creation, verification, and distribution.

Notably, the system aims to identify and address the subtler issues of AI-generated content that may appear credible but are educationally inappropriate, defining them as areas requiring expert judgment rather than simple errors.

BookIPs' guardrail and peer review system ensures that AI-generated content adheres to educational and legal standards, securing its reliability through expert validation. Moving beyond using generative AI as a mere production tool, BookIPs has designed a clear Human-AI collaboration framework where educational experts participate in every stage of content creation, adjustment, and verification.

The guardrail is applied from the content generation stage, setting parameters to prevent the creation of educationally inappropriate or misleading elements. In collaboration with the Korea Copyright Commission, BookIPs has integrated a UCI-based management system, ensuring that all content created and distributed on SOLVOOK is tracked with source information, preserving transparency, accountability, and institutional stability.

Moreover, the peer review process involves education experts from the same field conducting mutual evaluations of the generated content, assessing not only its accuracy but also its educational relevance and contextual appropriateness. BookIPs has explicitly positioned the verification entities within this Human-AI collaboration structure as experts possessing the educational judgment capacity, rather than just users or operators.

The challenge with AI-generated content often lies not in obvious errors but in elements that, while plausible, might be educationally inappropriate or distort learning. Recognizing the limitations of automated verification, SOLVOOK has made peer review among educational experts a core component to enhance judgment accuracy.

Kim Kwan-baek, Co-CEO of BookIPs, emphasized, "In the era of generative AI, the core issue is not how quickly content is created, but who verifies it, under what standards, and how that responsibility is documented. SOLVOOK aims to expand a healthy educational content ecosystem by designing a platform that builds content structures predicated on trust, alongside educational experts."
